The Midwest Shooting School

featuring Shotgunning Instruction by Patrick LaBoone

Whether you hunt upland birds or waterfowl, shoot sporting clays, trap or skeet, we have something to offer you. The knowledge we’ll give you, the skills we’ll teach you, cross the boundaries from one moving target game to another. If you build your shooting technique on the method I teach, you’ll be able to go seamlessly from one clay pigeon sport to another, and from clay target shooting to live bird hunting without changing your fundamentals or having your performance suffer during the transitions. It works because the wing shooting method I teach is based on skills you use and take for granted in everyday life...

The website is not flashy, but there is a lot of information available here about what we have to offer.

It’s a work in progress, and we welcome your suggestions....

There is now an opportunity for you to ask questions, talk to other shotgunners, and put in your own two cents worth! I’ll add video clips and update photos as time goes by. Check out our blog The Shotgunners’ Notebook.

If traveling to our school here in Minnesota is inconvenient, maybe we can meet for instruction in your own backyard, when I’m teaching in your part of the country. Go to Traveling Schools for more information.

Don’t overlook the next best thing to live instruction--order a copy of A Shotgunning Philosophy, Volume 1, our award-winning instructional DVD. See Instructional Videos/DVDs for a full description.
